I've decided to try and make an effort out of combining my blogspot blog and my cghub blog....i haven't been that active lately, so i'm hoping cross posting and working my way towards just posting and keeping my 'folio updated here will keep my brain happy :D.

 

Did a logo test for remake of the original doom, using handpainted textures and 3d models....dunno why i would seriously harm my brain with a project like that :S

Tech thingy texture is from the original DooM logo done by Don Ivan Punchatz (hope i got it right).

Next up is a couple of textures and an imp+zombie+gun and shotgun...i'm only gonne try and recreate E1M1 (too big a scope otherwise....small chunks!)

      Can't show any of the secret stuff me thinks...like all the stuff that didn't get into the game.....and i can't find all the alien stuff for some reason = major fail :(

        Really? Cos it seems in many of making-of books, they often show stuff that wasn't used (and I always end up thinking 'aaaww, wish that had been in the game/film'!)

          True, tho we didn't do a making of, so i can only show the stuff that's been in the press or at GDC...it sucks :S
